Freddie King wrote it, Jeff Healey tore it apart. His version of I’m Tore Down showed just how wild and soulful a Strat-on-the-lap could get. Here’s my tribute — on a @prsguitars 🎶🔥 Fun fact: Jeff Healey was completely blind from the age of one, yet he developed his unique lap-style guitar technique that gave him that soaring, vocal tone — he felt the music, literally. . . . . . . . . #jeffhealey #imtoredown #freddieking #bluesguitar #bluesrock #prs #prsguitars #guitarsolo #guitarcover #guitar

David Levi on Instagram: "Jeff Healey turned I’m Tore Down into pure lightning — lap-style fire, eyes closed, every note straight from the soul. Fun fact: Healey first learned the tune from Freddie King’s original version, and he often played it live with no set arrangement — just feel. This is my take, played on a Jackson Custom Shop King V straight from Diablo Guitars in Seattle @diabloguitarsseattle @officialjacksonguitars — huge thanks to the crew there for hooking me up with this weapon⚡🔥
