🔍 Ever wondered how we inspect the inside of heat exchanger tubes? We use a technique called IRIS Ultrasonic Testing! 🛠️ Here’s how it works: Insert a Probe: A special ultrasonic probe is inserted into a tube. Rotation and Detection: As the probe rotates and moves through the tube, it emits ultrasonic waves that bounce back, capturing detailed info on the tube's condition. Data Analysis: The data shows us the exact thickness of the tube walls and pinpoints any damage like corrosion or erosion.
