Preparing your VegTrug for the New Growing Season First things first. Clean out any old plants that have died down. Get a brush and clean down the outside. If you have growing medium in your VegTrug you do not need to remove it all. You can do what is known as top dressing. Take off about 2 inches (5cm) off the top. Don’t discard, this can be used for other pots, mixed in with some fertiliser and dug around other garden beds. Or layered through your compost bin. Take some new compost/soil/fertil
